Bhubaneswar based air charter Company Air Odisha Aviation Private Limited (AOAPL) will start its inter-State flight operation from Tuesday.
Chief Minister Naveen Patanik will inaugurate the service at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) at 11.15 am on Tuesday.
The private airline had earlier successfully conducted trial runs to the four cities – Sambalpur, Jeypore, Jharsuguda and Rourkela.
On the inaugural day, the nine-seater first commercial flight of the Air Odisha will fly to Sambalpur and return Bhubaneswar via Jharsuguda. Later it will fly to Jeypore in Koraput district and return Bhubaneswar and later take off for Rourkela.
The service will be available six days a week except Sunday. The minimum price for each ticket was fixed at Rs 2,499.
